A Recipe for Peace

Today we celebrate the Day of Peace.

This is my recipe:

•  2 cups of love
• 3/4 cups of kindness
• 2 tablespoons of curiosity
• 1 teaspoon of humility
• A pinch of understanding

 Bake at 350º for a yummy batch of peace!

MAGIC "E"

  In English spelling, the E at the end of a word is magic. Its purpose is to show that the preceeding vowel is long rather than short.

We say that: Magic E makes the vowel say its name.

Remember that magic E doesn't sound!
