First, second, third...
Ordinal numbers are used to order in a list, they tell the position in a list.
For example: to give instructions, to classify the participants in a competition, to talk about the flats in a building, to say the date...
*Pay attention to the way we write the 9th: NINTH. You usually write it wrong.

Play with odd and even numbers
In Maths we are learning the concept: odd number and even number.
We know that if a number can be broken into two EQUAL parts it is EVEN.
If not, it is odd.
For instance, number 6 can be divided into 3+3 (equal parts, so it is even).
but, number 9 can be break into 4+5 or 5+4, they are NOT EQUAL, so it is ODD.
**When you have a two digit number, such as 38. We focus on the last number which is 8 to know if it is odd or even. 38 is an even number because it finishes with 8.
Here you have a game to play online. Click on the image or the link below.

Odd or Even? Online game!
EVEN numbers are those that can be divided into two equal teams. For instance, number 2 is broken into 1+1, or number 6 is broken into 3+3. Therefore, 2 and 6 are even numbers.
On the contrary, ODD numbers can't be broken into two equal parts. For example, number 7 is 3+4 or 4+3 (the parts are not the same). Therefore, number 1 is odd.
When you have a two digit number, such as 38. We look at the last number which is 8 to know if it is odd or even. 38 is an even number because it finishes with 8.

420>201. Is it correct?
This is how we express that a number is bigger or smaller than another: In Maths we use numbers and symbols!
*Remember! The open mouth is next to the biggest number! ;)
