Adjectives, nouns and verbs!

Nouns are words to refer to people, animals, things and places. For instance: a farmer, a cow, a pencil and a cinema.

Listen to this song:


An adjective is the word that describes a noun. For example: big, tall, tiny, beautiful and all the colours.




A verb is the main part of a sentece. It is an action or a state of being. For example:
  • My mum runs a lot. 
  • He cooks soup every Monday.
  • My friends don't like karate.
  • His sister doesn't go to the trip.
  • He is tall and strong.

Fables

In Values, we are watching to fables. 
Fables are always represented by animals and they teach a moral value, something which is positive for us.

First, second, third...

Ordinal numbers are used to order in a list, they tell the position in a list. 

For example: to give instructions, to classify the participants in a competition, to talk about the flats in a building, to say the date...



*Pay attention to the way we write the 9th: NINTH. You usually write it wrong.

We can say that our body is divided into three parts: the head, the torso and the limbs.

Each one of these parts has got bones, muscles and joints. These photos show the skeleton with some of them.
